The profession of cook has been a dream of mine since childhood. Even as a schoolboy I helped my parents with cooking, often doing even better than they did, and then they said, “You should become a chef!
In the status of the chef I am 15 years. I worked in many restaurants in the country, where I gradually climbed the career ladder: chef, chef-trainer, senior chef, sous-chef… Later as a chef I opened several restaurants from scratch, so the restaurant business is familiar to me like no other.
I love experimenting: thinking, inventing, trying combinations – that’s how a dish is born! Sometimes it works the way I planned the first time, and sometimes I have to try again and again.
When I opened restaurants, I also had to think about the design, the menu, and how to make it so that the customer would be pleasant to be in the place.
So I decided to start my own personal blog about it. Because this is a very complex branch of business and perhaps my knowledge and advice will be useful to someone in life.
Yours, Thomas Radel!
